After more than 11 years at Peek & Cloppenburg KG Düsseldorf, I quit to be with my mom.

For many years I have focused on my career and hardly anything has been able to break that focus and yet priorities can change faster than you would expect fncmx.

My mom has been battling terminal lung cancer since the beginning of the year. In the hope of a positive outcome, time didn’t seem to play a role. Unfortunately, that changed at short notice.

In the conflict between being present as a manager in Berlin and being with my family in the Allgäu, I chose my family.

I look back on an incredibly instructive and exciting 11.5 years at Peek&Cloppenburg Düsseldorf. Especially to the great colleagues, teams and people I was able to work with.

Special thanks go to my mentors and superiors who let me learn and who supported me.

As soon as I can, I’ll let you know how it goes. It will certainly remain exciting.

In the first step, the focus will not be on management tasks as before, but simply on the time we have left.
